Why to sign in?
Registering by providing your contact details will enable you to make repetitive orders. There is no need to fill out each time you come back to the page.
What is the photo-locator?
The photo-locator serves to show the location of a point of interest on the map of the Czech Republic. It lets you know where approximately the particular monument is. The map is at the key word of each photograph. The database of geographic locations currently covers most of national monuments in Prague and other areas are being completed. The photolocator also shows an overview of objects closest to the chosen point.
What is the quality of our photographs?
Most of the photographs are scanned from mid-format diapositives and cine-film, a part of them were created using a digital reflex camera. We recommend using resolution 300 dpi as the maximum format.
Photos purchased for internet use are provided in resolution of 72 dpi.
What determines the price of a photograph?
The final price of a photo is put together by three factors: method of use, format and edition.
Method of use means for what purpose the photo is meant to be used. There will be a price set for using it on a book cover and another one for print in a magazine.
The format of the photo determines the final applied format of the chosen photo. For print, the price is set by format size A6, A5, A4 and more and for billboards by squared meters.
The last factor that affects the price of a photo is the edition volume of the media using the photo. There will be different prices for a book with edition 1000 pcs and for a book with greater press volume.
